Safety NTA 8620
NTA 8620 (Nederlandse Technische Afspraak or Dutch Technical Agreement) is a set of specifications for a safety system for managing the risks of serious accidents. The NTA 8620 is the predecessor of an official standard, and is developed for companies who are required as part of the implementation of the Seveso II Directive (known in the Netherlands as the BRZO or Besluit Risico Zware Ongevallen) to have a safety management system.
The NTA 8620 is published by NEN (Netherlands Standardization Institute). More information on the implementation of an NTA 8620-based safety management system is available in Dutch and can be downloaded here (in Dutch).
